We are so delighted, that as part of our Bet Midrash Program, we are able to offer a choice of three children’s services each Shabbat during the school year (when class is in session).  A small Kiddush will be provided, either immediately after, or just preceding services for all youngsters. Volunteers are needed during services to help in a variety of ways. Please e-mail Amy if you are able to lend a hand!

Shabbat Morning Live! Activities for everyone ages through 120!
We are very excited about our Shabbat Morning Program – Family Bet Midrash. After the success of our pilot year, we are expanding our program in a variety of ways. The entire family will be able to attend Synagogue with a program or activity geared to every age group. We will begin our Shabbat mornings together as a congregation with songs and blessings, before breaking up into the variety of offerings that will be available, including two Adult Education classes, religious school classes for youngsters ages 3 through grade two and supervised child care throughout the morning. The morning will continue with three age appropriate children’s services each week as well our congregational worship service. We will conclude with our usual scrumptious Kiddush and conversation for everyone. Our “crying baby room” will soon be stocked with creative and educational children’s toys, such as Jewish puzzles, Shabbat games, as well as holiday related toys so that the youngsters’ time will be well spent in a Jewish environment with their friends--both new and old. For children not enrolled in Shabbat School supervised Jewish activities will be available for times other than during children’s services. The use of a variety of rooms will afford each program its own success. If you have not already registered your child (age 3-grade 2) for religious school this may be the ideal option for your family. We also welcome those who have selected the Sunday program and would enjoy the family Shabbat experience to reconsider their choice and call me so that we can make the appropriate change!.
