FOUR ways to join BK in supporting aid to victims of genocide in Darfur:1. March with us on April 13 at 2:00 PM - Torch Walk begins at Montclair High School Amphitheater (corner of Park and Chestnut Streets) and ends one mile across town at the Rally for Action on the lawn in front of First Congregational Church (40 South Fullerton Avenue) in Montclair at 3:00 PM. March with the Torch Walk, drawing attention to the Olympics host China's participation in supporting Sudan as the genocide in Darfur continues. Pick up a pledge form at the BK office or ww.ecc4darfur.org, and gather checks to support the BK marchers.
2. Come to the rally at the First Congregational Church (40 South Fullerton Avenue) at 3:00 PM on April 13. Hear the combined choirs (including singers from BK!), hear the speakers, learn what we can do to help the victims in Darfur, show your support for immediate full deployment of UN Peacekeeping force.
3. Pick up a pledge form and gather pledges from your friends and neighbors. We are gathering pledges to support Doctors Without Borders-Darfur, one of the few remaining relief organizations providing help to the people of Darfur as aid workers are increasingly coming under attack in renewed hostilities in the Sudan.
4. Even if you can't come to the Torch Walk or the rally, write a check to Doctors Without Borders-Darfur and drop it off at the BK office BEFORE APRIL 13, and sign a pledge form to support the BK marchers.
