The congregation, through its Hesed Committee, offers a caring community framework for those in need due to an illness, a death, or other crisis. The members of our Hesed committee take care of arrangements to provide support for members of the Bnai Keshet community. The committee chair is Linda Halper. The Hesed Committee has prepared a Resource Directory to provide Bnai Keshet members with information on various health-related subjects. The Bnai Keshet Resource Directory contains information (including addresses, phone numbers, and websites where possible) on the JCC MetroWest, Jewish Family Service, Jewish funeral homes,
Jewish cemeteries, bereavement groups, other support groups, substance abuse and addiction, nursing homes, eldercare, hospice, senior citizens, and local health-related sources.
The Resource Directory, attached below, is also available in the Bnai Keshet office. The Hesed Committee hopes that the information proves to be helpful. The information in the Resource Directory is general information that can be used for further research. Inclusion in the Resource Directory does not imply an endorsement of any kind. Any information that needs to be corrected, updated, or added can be given to Fred Glicksman or Nadia Christiansen in the BK office and will be passed on to the Hesed Committee.
