Dear BK Community,

If you had an opportunity to join us at FCC on Kol Nidre, right before the Aleinu you heard us speak briefly yet passionately about community. Specifically, we spoke from the heart about the ways in which the Bnai Keshet community has been an important part of their family's lives since joining BK. For both of us—and, hopefully, for many of you as well—the Bnai Keshet community has been a source of support in times of joy and sorrow, struggle and celebration, and throughout the countless ordinary moments in the flow of our everyday daily lives.

Of course, in the sometimes harsh light of reality, the logistical and administrative costs of keeping Bnai Keshet humming along exceeds what is in the shul's coffers. So much of our programming runs on a schedule of dedication and volunteerism. But it takes financial fuel to keep this entire ecosystem running smoothly—from the prayer books to the playground. Your contribution is that essential fuel, and the annual LOV campaign is our Bnai Keshet way of trying to raise funds necessary to pay for so much that we, as a community, hope to achieve. 

And so, in the coming days and weeks, we will come together in community to raise the funds necessary to continue running the many programs and experiences that make Bnai Keshet such a special and important part of our lives.
