Pre-K Workshops

Pre-K Workshops - Saturday mornings, ages 3-5

Our Pre-K workshops gently introduce children to the Jewish holidays and Jewish values with song, dance, drama, and art.  Modern Hebrew terms and Israeli children's songs are introduced throughout the program.
Themed courses for preschoolers meet on Saturday mornings throughout the school year from 9-10:15. Parents can join their child for Tot Shabbat at 10:15-10:45 after the workshop or remain in the classroom if their child needs them.

Please also join us for PJ Havdalah programs throughout the year.  We will sing songs to say goodbye to Shabbat, enjoy a meal together, and do a quick Havdalah service before saying goodbye.  Feel free to come in PJs!  Saturdays, 4:30-6:30pm on October 20, December 1, February 23, May 11.

“Tu Bishvat and Shabbat”

We'll weave a celebration of the birthday of the trees through learning about Shabbat rituals for the home.  At the end of this workshop, students will come home with ritual objects to celebrate Shabbat with their families, and lots of ideas for yummy treats for Tu Bishvat!

"Passover”

Passover is almost here!  Let’s get ready!  We’ll reenact the story of Pesach, learn all about what it means to be free people, and bring home new songs and games to enliven our family tables.
