Michael Lavigne’s novel is a powerful and timely story about an Israeli father, his daughter, and the unexpected changes in their lives in the aftermath of a suicide bombing.  It also tells of Amir, the young Palestinian who pushed the button.  Amir ends up wandering and watching the other survivors during a journey through the Holy Land.
