Last year we made tremendous progress in understanding as a community our vision for teen programming. We are really lucky to have almost 30 teens involved in our madrichim program, as well as many others involved in Rosh Hodesh groups, Jewish learning, leading prayer, and most impressively, communal service, around Bnai Keshet.

Moving forward, It is our intention to have a formal, expanded teen program in place by the beginning of the next academic year.

To begin, we will be holding three community forums to discuss:

• What will be the educational component of the program? The social component?
• The community service component?
• What will participation look like? How much? How little?
• How many options/tracks?
• Ideas for culminating events at the completion of each year and at the completion of the program.

The first two programs will be open to parents and to members of the community. They will be held on two days to maximize participation: Thursday, December 11th at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 21st at 10am. The third program will be held in January for teens only.
