Mindfulness Meditation is a powerful way to develop and strengthen our intention to pay attention to each moment of our lives.
This class is an opportunity to pause in the midst of our hectic lives, to calm our bodies and minds, and connect deeply with our hearts and our tradition. Each session will include teachings from a Jewish perspective. A kavannah (intention) based on Jewish concepts, values, the Torah portion or calendar time will guide our time together as we cultivate the qualities of wisdom, compassion and kindness from a Jewish perspective.
Participants will be asked to practice between 20-30 minutes each day for 5-6 days a week.
This class is appropriate to both beginners and those with some meditation experience. We will provide an inclusive and welcoming environment that is accessible to all. No meditation experience or Jewish knowledge is necessary. You are welcome just as you are.
