Pre-K Workshops - Saturday mornings, ages 3-5

 
Themed courses for preschoolers meet on Saturday mornings throughout the school year from 10:30-12. Parents can join their child for Tot Shabbat at 11:30 after the workshop.
 
 
 September 26, October 3, 10, 17
"Sukkot Gratitude, Torah Celebration"
As fall begins we celebrate the harvest festival of Sukkot and roll the Torah back to the beginning and get ready to retell our people's story anew. This workshop will focus on the importance of story-telling, drama, and new ways into our people's sacred story.
 
January 9, 23, 30 & Feb 6
"Tu B'Shevat"
In the midst of NJ winter we'll get excited about the coming Israeli spring. This workshop will include explorations of the natural world and the tastes of Israel.
 
 
March 12, 19, 26 & April 2
"Get Ready for Passover!"
Purim's here and Passover is right behind! Get ready to laugh, dance, and sing as we revel in our carnival holiday and then usher in the holiday of our freedom right behind it!
 

Our Pre-K workshops gently introduce children to the Jewish holidays and Jewish values with song, dance, drama, and art. Modern Hebrew terms and Israeli children's songs are introduced throughout the program.
