Shabbat Hike and Havdalah Overnight for Teens

2:00 PM - 11:00 AM Next DayMeet at BKWhere and what to expect: The 4.5 mile hike will start at the Morris County Park In Booton, NJ and trail will climb Pyramid Mountain where there are some nice views of the area plus some interesting glacial erratics to see like Tripod Rock. The group will camp out and celebrate havdalah at Deer Lake.
Time: Leave Bk on Saturday around 2 PM and return on Sunday around 11 AM
Where and what to expect: The 4.5 mile hike will start at the Morris County Park In Booton, NJ and trail will climb Pyramid Mountain where there are some nice views of the area plus some interesting glacial erratics to see like Tripod Rock. The group will camp out and celebrate havdalah at Deer Lake.
Everyone will need their own sleeping bag, water bottle and a small back pack (i.e., school bag) to carry their water bottle, flashlight and whatever personal items you may need. Tents and all food/snacks will be provided.
Costs: $10 to cover food and camping charges
Leaders: Craig Levine and at least one other adult
Space is limited so sign-up quickly.
Parents should let us know if there are any medical/medication issues that we should know about ahead of time by noting such on the registration form.
