SUKKAH HAVDALAH, CAMPFIRE AND SLEEPOVER
Saturday, October 11, 2014 • 17 Tishrei 5775
7:00 PM - 8:00 AM Next DaySukkot is all about the outdoors. Bnai Keshet invites everyone to take this to heart.
Come to Havdalah in the sukkah and stay for hotdogs and s'mores over a campfire, songs, guitars, stories and even a sleepover (weather permitting).
BK families are welcome to come for any or all of the evening and overnight. Parents must stay with their children or make sure that another adult who is staying will be responsible for them.
We'll say farewell to Shabbat with Havdalah and build a campfire (in a portable fire pit), cook our dinner and sing to guitar accompaniment. (Note: All bets off in the event of rain.)
There will be a social action component and evening prayers before bedtime.
Here's what you need to bring if you're planning on staying overnight:
•Warm clothes and toothbrushes
•A warm enough sleeping bag
•Optional items:
•Food or drink (if you want more than hot dogs and s'mores)
• Tent (optional)
• Therma-rest type camping pads
• Tarps, to avoid dew seeping into sleeping bags
