With sadness, I have to share that Lester J. Klouser, father of BK member Leslie Lesly, passed away on Tuesday, February 23 at the age of 85.

Lester was born in Sacramento, PA on October 8, 1930 to the late Allen and Eva Stiely Klouser. Lester was employed by BASF/Wyandotte Chemicals for 33 years as a shift leader, retiring in 1995. He served in the US Army during the Korean War in the Army Security Agency for four years.

Lester loved to hunt and fish. He was active in sports, having coached children's baseball in Stewartsville for 20 years. Lester was a Life Member of American Legion Post #326 of Millersburg, PA and a member of AMVETS #17 in Easton, PA.

Lester was loved by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Fox Klouser; son, Steven C. Klouser of Stewartsville; daughter, Leslie Lesly and her husband, Mark of West Orange, NJ; grandson, Jalen; God-Grand-Daughter, Morgan Howell; sisters, Mildred Koppenhaver and Karen Zerby; a brother, Larry Klouser; and his loving dogs, Bear and Angel. Lester was predeceased by his sons, Matthew A. Klouser and David K. Klouser; a daughter, Lisa Klouser; grandson, Griffin Lesly; sisters, Marian, Betty and Ruth; and a brother, Ronald.

A Funeral Service was held on February 27 in Phillipsburg, NJ. Memorials may be made to The Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Co.; 321 Greenwich Street; Stewartsville, NJ 08886.
