Opening Night or Closing Night?

Controversy at BK

In an unusual twist that could have a lasting impact on future Purim Shpiels at Bnai Keshet, Co-Presidents Marty Fellner and Liz Lipner have appointed a committee to determine if BK should refer to tonight's performance of the Shpiel as "Opening Night" or "Closing Night."  They initially consulted with BK's self-appointed parliamentarian, Craig Levine; but he couldn't promise a meaningful  answer in time for next year's Shpiel, let alone tonight's.  The Executive Board met late into the night to discuss; but that effort to resolve this hit a roadblock when they forgot what they were discussing. In a moment of desperation, Marty and Liz appointed a Committee that has been meeting ever since.  "The show must go on," lamented Marty.

  • Sugar Free
  • Gluten Free
  • Crumb Free

  • Fair-trade
  • Native Brooklyn Hamentashen
  • Chocolate Dipped
