Very sad to announce that Julie Hiraga Stolzberg, sister of BK member Jenny Hiraga, brother-in-law of Noah Kupferman and beloved aunt to Ben, Leo and Anna, passed away after a long struggle with cancer on March 20^th.  She was 43 years old.

Julie was a remarkable parent, sibling, aunt and friend.  A gifted teacher at The Dalton School in New York for fourteen years, her students and their families were blessed by her beautiful friendship and her deep and touching passion for children and for teaching.  The world lost an extraordinary woman who will be remembered and deeply, deeply loved.  She is survived by her husband, Craig, and their two children, Emi and Tai.  

A memorial service will be planned for later in the spring at The Dalton School.
