Jews and Comedy. Like who would’ve thought, right? The Bnai Keshet Men’s Club will get together for it’s final convocation for the season. If you miss this one…you’re going to have to wait until you see the Sukkah built.
The deets: it’s Friday, April 8th at 7:30pm at Bnai Keshet. And it’s Comedy Night. We’ll dine on an assortment of Bar Food, once again graciously prepared by master chef Sam Sheps. We’ll eat, drink, and schmooze, we’ll see a documentary film about the history of Catskills Comedy, after which we’ll share some jokes in a true nightclub atmosphere.
So mark this one down. It’s next Friday night. It’ll be a shondah if miss it. And DON’T be a schnorrer: bring both your favorite beverage and a joke or two to share. Don’t be afraid of finding a joke. Al Gore has come to your rescue via the Internet. Go to Old Jews Telling Jokes if you need material.
And hey, over and over I hear some of you tell me about how you really wanted to come but didn’t…this is your last chance this season. We’d love to have you join us.
Old friends, new friends, good food & drink…and this time around: COMEDY.
