I am sorry to share that Rachel Goldwasser, mother of BK member Nathan Goldwasser, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 87.Rachel Goldwasser was born in Israel, her parents were among the founding 
members of Kfar Vitkin, a cooperative farming collective, in the heart of the country. She was a writer and artist whose work reflected the early days of the State of Israel. Along with her husband Zvi she spent many years in the US representing Kupat Holim, the Israeli Health Care system. The family returned to Israel when Nathan was 12 years old and lived for many years in Tel Aviv.

The funeral will be held in Israel.
Shiva arrangements at the home of Nathan Goldwasser and Shelley Labiner (448 Upper Mountain Ave, Upper Montclair) will be announced next week.
