The staff and leadership of Bnai Keshet joins the broader Jewish community in mourning the loss of Shimon Peres. An immigrant from Poland, the story of Shimon Peres paralleled the birth of Israel as a nation. He dedicated his life to protecting and building the State of Israel. For decades he worked tirelessly to promote the idea that peace would come through economic and cultural integration between Israelis and Palestinians, between Israel and her neighbors. His service to the Jewish people has been profound and his loss is great. We pray that his memory will be a blessing and that his lifelong efforts will continue to bear fruits for our people and the world.
