Nov18

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Sample's mother, Muriel Rosenberg. Muriel (Solomon) Rosenberg, age 98, died on Thursday, November 17.  She was the proud mother of Gail (Rosenberg) Sample and Debbie (Rosenberg) Meron, grandmother to Peter Sample, Anna (Sample) Meyerhoff, Thomas Sample, Avital (Meron) Akrish, Dafnah Meron and Gilad Meron.  Muriel was also great-grandmother to Thea and Metta Meyerhoff; Maayan & Gali Akrish.  Muriel survived her husband, Stanley, the love of her life, with whom she was happily married for over 60 years.  As a young woman, Muriel worked as a Dental Hygienist and then a Photographer’s Assistant.  After marrying and giving birth to two daughters, she was a devoted homemaker for many years.  After Gail and Debbie were grown and out of the house, Muriel went back to school, to indulge her passion for interior design.  She then had a successful career in this field.  Muriel enjoyed golfing and bridge.  She loved classical music and was an avid reader.  Muriel was delighted at the birth of each of her grandchildren and amazed to live long enough to become a great-grandmother to four adorable granddaughters.  The light in her eyes and the smile on her face when they came to visit her was something amazing to see!  Muriel will be greatly missed by her family, who will always remember her with all their love.
