Today’s challenges are echoed in the Purim and Passover stories.  Each of those narratives highlights the resistance to injustice, but in different ways. And both focus on the use of power to remedy an oppressive system.

Rabbi Ariann will lead us in a discussion with biblical text as a jumping-off point to today’s issues. What is the power of our citizenry today?  What is effective resistance? How much power do everyday people have? Do religious groups have an advantage in their voices being heard?

Bring your ideas, optimism, skepticism, and information you have of already well-organized local and national efforts.

All are welcome.
