Rabbi Elliott Wants to Hear from YOU

This year’s congregational value, to welcome the stranger is rooted in the broader commandment to love the stranger. In the Torah we are commanded to love three things –

God, our neighbor and the stranger.

What does the commandment to love the stranger mean to you? When you have tried to offer meaningful care and open-heartedness to those you do not know?

Do you have a story to tell about this? How do you think this commandment is tied to the commandments to love God and love one's neighbor?

I would love to have you get the conversation started on Bnai Keshet's Facebook page or share your  to email me directly rabbielliott@bnaikeshet.org.

Leshanah Tovah, Rabbi Elliott
