With sadness, I have to share that Miriam Goldsmith, mother of BK member Arthur Goldsmith, passed away yesterday, September 3, 2013.
A loving, loved and dedicated wife, married to Stanley J. Goldsmith for 54 years; loving mother of 4, Ira, Arthur, Beth and Mark and their spouses, Diane, Lisa, Jon and Joanna and grandmother of Jack & Anne, David & Moshe, Michelle, Sasha, Talia and Jacob, sister to Leonard & Richard. A gifted homemaker, talented cook, sculptor, proficient in a variety of handcrafts including restorer of porcelain objects who saw goodness, beauty and worth in many people before it was politically correct.Services will be at Sinai Chapel, Horace Harding Blvd, Queens, NY at 2:00PM on September 6, 2013.
Donations in her memory can be made to Ruben Niesvizky, MD, Myeloma Research at Weill Cornell Med Ctr or Palliative Care, North Shore University Hospital and Garvies Point Museum & Preserve.
