I am very sad to announce the death of BK member Elissa Siegel's mother, Sandy Kligman (Sura Masi bat Shmuel Shlomo v'Zelda) on Friday, November 8, 2013. She is remembered dearly by Elissa, Michael, Sammi, Zachary and Levi. Sandy was the devoted wife to Lenny Kligman, loving Mother of two daughters and two sons, Grandmother of fifteen, and Great-Grandmother of three.

Sandy taught third grade at Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School in Northridge, CA for twenty-eight years and was beloved by her students. She was an avid reader, exuberant knitter, and world traveler.  Her sweet smile and selfless nature were evident to all who met her. Her family brought profound joy and delight to Sandy. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services were held at Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills, CA. Shiva is being observed at the family home in Northridge, CA.
