Rabbi Ariann Weitzman will teach on the works of Rabbi Abraham Isaak Kook, the first chief Ashkenazi rabbi of British Mandatory Palestine and one of the most influential rabbis of the 20th century.  "HaRav" was a mystic, a halakhist, a Torah scholar, and above all a practical thinker about the future of Judaism, especially in the land of Israel.  We will look at several of his works, focusing primarily on "Orot HaTeshuvah," the lights of repentance.

will be held at BK, and not at someone's home. That's because we are anticipating a larger crowd than usual. We are both privileged and delighted to announce that the editor of LILITH, Susan Weidman Schneider, will be joining us for this special salon.
