Jewish Meditation Center of Montclair
We are excited to let you know that the Jewish Meditation Center of Montclair (JMC) has moved to B'nai Keshet beginning April 5th at 4PM. Click for more information.
Meditation will be guided, often with kavvanot (intentions) inspired by the weekly Torah portion, the calendar and our daily lives. Sometimes there will be chanting. Other weeks will be "community sits" - where a member of the community may share a thought or inspiration. There will always be plenty of silence. The sessions are free and there is no experience required. Rabbi Elliott will be leading the meditation this week. Give it a try!

8:15 Pizza or Chametz of your choice
Following the service we will be welcoming Hametz – bread and leavened products – back into our diet with some pizza and beer for those who are so inclined.
A little later – Mourner’s Table
Rabbi Elliott is inviting those in mourning and those who have recently been in mourning to gather informally after the service. Rabbi Elliott will be sharing a short teaching and then opening up the room for sharing of memories and current experiences with mourning.
