Looking For a Home: A Book Collection on the Jewish Experience
This collection of books comes from the Estate of Ruth Lesly, mother of BK Member Mark Lesly. The range of this 100+ book collection is staggering: from serious academic investigations into the Dead Sea Scrolls and other scholarly pursuits, to the history of the Diaspora, the American Immigrant experience, the Holocaust, contemporary Jewish issues, a large range of historical novels covering most of the above and dash of Jewish Humor. Purchased individually, the collection is worth thousands of dollars. Mark would prefer the collection to stay intact and live with someone for whom they would be meaningful. In the absence of this, the books will be donated to a library and sold individually to raise funds. Please respond asap to marklesly@verizon.net or phone/text 201-914-1704.
