Memorial Notice: Judith Levine

Judith Levine, mother of BK member Janis Orlofsky, passed away yesterday, Tuesday, September 2, at the age of 88 in West Orange, New Jersey.
She was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to Morris and Nessie Popkin, the fifth of six children. She graduated from Freehold High School, and in 1947 married Bertram Levine, who predeceased her in 2001. A woman of enormous energy and unfailing dedication to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family and friends, she always had the most practical solutions to all problems.
She was the mother of Janis Orlofsky (Steve Orlofsky) and Eric Levine (Patricia Emerson); the grandmother of Natalie Orlofsky (Adam Green), Seth Orlofsky (Vicky Orlofsky) and Sam Levine; and the great grandmother of Ben Green, Greg Green and Maren Orlofsky.
A funeral servive will be held at Bnai Keshet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 4.
The family will be sitting shiva at the home of Janis and Steve Orlofsky, 6 Jennifer Court, North Caldwell, New Jersey, on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, with a minyan each night at 7:30 p.m.
