Israel Through the Eyes
 of Israeli Literature

As the war in Gaza raged his summer, we looked on in anguish, many of us not fully comprehending the history and current status of the conflict. To bring us closer to a position of understanding, we will be exploring the matzav (the Hebrew term used to describe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict) through the lens of Israeli literature – both fiction and non-fiction. Beginning on Wednesday, January 7th, at 8PM we will be discussing “My Promised Land,” by Ari Shavit. Go here for more info.

A Celebration of Poetry & Music

BE SURPRISED BE PROVOKED BE ENTERTAINED
A VERY SPECIAL CHAVURAH on Friday, January 9th at 8PM! The chavurah will celebrate poetry and music. Four of our very own poets will be reading from their work with the accompaniment of Sharon Freedman on piano. Click for more info ....
