Memorial Notice - Randy J. Hallock

Randy Hallock, brother of BK member Joseph Hallock and sister-in-law of Dinah Hendon, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.

Randy was born in Paterson and grew up in Wayne, where he also raised his own family, before moving to the Jersey Shore. He was the owner of Homestyle Deli in Paterson (his family's business) for many years, where he perfected his famous macaroni salad and earned the nickname “Randy Roast Beef.” He then worked as a realtor for Emily Abdy Realty for 18 years. After spending many summers in Chadwick Beach, he pursued his dream of living down the shore permanently, when he and his wife Pat purchased Chadwick Beach Real Estate in 2007. To many, he was known as the “Mayor” of Chadwick Beach and affectionately as “Uncle” Randy. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church.

Besides Joseph and Dinah, his memory will be kept alive by his wife of 36 years, Patricia (Callaghan) Hallock, his son Joseph, his daughter Stefanie and son-in-law Jonathan Bengel, niece and nephew Daisy and Sam Bourne, his younger brother, Thomas Hallock and sister in law Carol Hallock, his niece Alyssa DeNardi and her husband Billy Cladek, his mother and father-in-law William and Joan Thomson, and brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Penny Irwin, and niece and godson, Patricia and Bobby Irwin.
