Simply put, this is an opportunity to playfully take on the relaxed and reviving Shabbat experience you have always imagined. Together we will experiment with different Shabbat practices. If you sign up you will get one email at the beginning of each week describing one simple practice for you to tryout out the following Shabbat. The email will include a range of examples describing this practice and ways to take it on that might work for you. Most of these practices will include things you want to do anyway.

Wednesday, April 8th: Movie Night at BK
Join us to view a documentary on the life Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik, the leading figure of Modern Orthodox Judaism in the 20th century. The Rav was a Talmudist and philosopher whose influence extended across the greater Jewish community. As we approach the 22nd anniversary of his death, the documentary ‘Lonely Man of Faith,’ excerpts of which were viewed when we studied some of Rabbi Soloveitichik’s writings a few years back, will be shown in its entirety (99mins).
