Leonard Streit, brother of BK member Roger Streit, passed away on Saturday, May 16th at his home in Lexington, South Carolina. He had been battling lung cancer for some time.
Len and Roger grew up in Passaic. Len and his family lived in England for many years before returning to the U.S. He was a charming, well-read guy with a great sense of humor, and he was devoted to his family. In addition to Roger and Joan, Len is survived by his wife Hazel, sons James, Andrew and Sean, and 3 grandchildren.
The funeral will be in South Carolina.
Shiva will be at Roger and Joan’s home, 16 Bongart Drive, West Orange, on Thursday, May 21st. Shiva will begin at 6:30PM with a Shiva Minyan at 7:30PM.
Roger and Joan will also be receiving visitors on Sunday, May 24th. from 1 - 5 pm.
Congregants can park on Bongart Drive, or in the lot behind the bushes, across the street.
