Meet Me at BK

Join us to learn and have fun

Join us on Sunday, May 31st to plant and clean up our flower gardens

Please join us on for a few hours of volunteer gardening at Bnai Keshet: pruning, weeding and planting some “bee-friendly” plants as part of Jemma Kushen's Jewish Values project.  The bees are dying everywhere and need our help!  We will supply tools, bagels and drinks.  RSVP to Jemma Kushen, Elise Aronov, or Kevin Fried or just show up.

We will conclude the series with a look at three early Zionists: Theodor Herzl; Ehad Ha'am; and Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook. For this class, you will need to get your hands on "An Introduction to Modern Jewish Thinkers: from Spinoza to Soloveitchik," by Alan T. Levenson; these thinkers are the subjects of chapters 7,8 & 11. It is a great book and is being considered for an adult-ed class next year.
