We hope you are having a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a meaningful and moving Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

We are reaching out to you now because we are very much in need of volunteers for some easy but important tasks.

Here are some general job descriptions:
 

Usher/Greeters: Give everyone a warm welcome and hand out books, and later replace books as appropriate

• Outside Youth Supervision: Make sure that the younger members are behaving in a reasonable manner outside of the service

• Childcare Registration: Record who comes to and leaves childcare. Welcome our guests.

• Young/Family Youth Service Ushers and Greeters:  Help out as needed to assist the rabbi. Otherwise, similar to standard ushering

• Gym Supervision: Make sure that the kids are behaving in a reasonable fashion.

If you are able to volunteer, just register on the Sign-up Genius website. 

Please also encourage your kids to fill roles that may be appropriate for their level of maturity and sense of responsibility. You may also find it particularly rewarding to do some activities with other family members.
