Several members will give 5-minute prepared "TIK Talks" to inspire, inform and engage. We'll enjoy potluck drinks and snacks and roll up our sleeves to help each other sign petitions, write letters, and stuff envelopes for our favorite Tikkun Olam causes.

Intro to Rosh Pinah pluralistic community followed by Q&A about the current situation: Join Rabbi Golan Ben-Chorin, founding Rabbi of The Pluralistic Community of Rosh Pinah as he recounts the story of the creation of this vibrant start-up congregation, established in Israel's original agricultural village situated below Safed in the Galilee region. Pioneering inclusive, egalitarian Judaism in Israel's northern periphery, the congregation is reaching out and bringing into its fold a spectrum of identities ranging from unaffiliated secular Israelis to traditional Jews.

Offering mindful and meaningful Jewish living the congregation's innovativeBeit Midrash of Soul & Soil will include a community garden and the renovated 1885 original kindergarten building. Grounded in a Jewish understanding of sustainability, integrating both tradition and innovation, they are creating a shared space of Jewish exploration and agriculture, study and permaculture, prayer, art and music. -

Eat Dance and Learn Cuba Direct from Havana, Cuba Witness For Peace brings Popular Educator and Writer Ariel Dacal Díaz to speak about US-Cuban relations and the changing face of Cuba. Talk followed by Cuban style appetizers, drinks, and Salsa Dancing with instruction from professional dancer José Libaniel Rojas.
