We need HOSTS for the 2016 Congregational Dinner on February 27, 2016.
The Dinner Committee is trying something new. We hope to pair two parties based on close proximity each other and have both sets of guests join up for dessert at about 9 pm. It's happened before once or twice by chance and was a big hit!
So if you are able to host 6-8 BK members in addition to yourselves, please let us know immediately. You may opt for fewer guests or ask for contributions to the meal. Having guests provide desserts would be a simple division of labor and deliciousness.
You must let us know you are IN no later than JANUARY 5th so we can get on with the other planning. If you have questions about taking on this Host role, please call and talk to us."
Kabbalat Bluegrass Shabbat with Doni Zasloff & Eric Lindberg ~ Nefesh Mountain
Friday, January 8th at 7:30PM
Doni Zasloff and Eric Lindberg, as the duo Nefesh Mountain, share their Bluegrass Shabbat Service that includes songs and prayers that draw from Bluegrass, Old Time, and Celtic influences. From an Irish celebratory Hine Ma Tov, to a modern bluegrass Michamocha, to an old-time soulful prayer for peace with Shalom Rav, Doni and Eric get to the heart of our favorite Shabbat prayers while backing them with fresh new sounds.
