Berny Goldberg, father of  BK members Melina Macall and Clair Goldberg, born March 14 1939, passed away on December 28 2015 in  London.

Born in London 1939, to David and Leni who had fled from Munich Germany in  1937. He is survived by his older sister Berti in Netanya, Israel, his beloved wife Rhoda (Roni),  daughters Melina, Clair and Joy and his grandchildren Hope, Noah,  Gabriel and Tal Slon, Lara and  Zece Brown,  Marcus and Alex Foux.

Berny met his American wife when she was visiting her British relatives. After a transatlantic romance they married in  New York and set up home in London.  They had 3 loving daughters,  3 sons in law (Martin,  Louis and  Robert) he adored and 8 grandchildren who gave him enormous pride and pleasure.

Berny was a well-travelled businessman who actively enjoyed working in the international arena. His intelligence and breadth of knowledge was reflected in the many languages he spoke and the wise counsel he gave to his family and friends.

He was a proud Jew and devoted to Israel. He took great pride in supporting Hendon Magen David Adam and their fundraising efforts to purchase emergency response vehicles and other first aid equipment. His warmth, generosity and dry sense of humour will be long remembered by all his friends and family.  He will be forever in their hearts.

Funeral services were held at Bushey Cemetery on Wednesday December 30 and the family sat shiva in London.

A memorial service will be held Saturday January 9th at 6.30 pm at  the home of Melina Macall and  Martin Slon: 118 Elm St,  Montclair NJ 07042
