Simply put, this is an opportunity to playfully take on the relaxed and reviving Shabbat experience you have always imagined. Together we will experiment with different Shabbat practices. If you sign up you will get one email at the beginning of each week describing one simple practice for you to tryout out the following Shabbat. The email will include a range of examples describing this practice and ways to take it on that might work for you. Most of these practices will include things you want to do anyway,like: 
  • Connecting With Friends and Family
  • Unplugging from Technology 
  • Spending Time Outside 
  • Avoiding Commerce 
  • Singing
  • Saying the Sabbath Blessing 
  • Taking Naps
  • Being Silent or Finding Time For Your Soul 
 
You will also receive weekly advice from our own Alma Schneider on how to make simple delicious Shabbat meals and how remove the roadblocks that get in the way of spending time with friends on Shabbat. There will be a dedicated Facebook page to share ideas and questions generated by your experience. The Shabbat Challenge Lab lasts just 7 weeks starting right after Passover and ending with Shavuot.
