Explore the Kabbalistic frame of the four worlds or levels of spiritual awareness of asiyah--action, yetzirah--formation, beri'ah--creation and atzilut--flowing, as a basis for deepening our creative practice. This workshop will include text study and experiential exercises in the exploration of our creative energy.

Led by:
Rabbi Elliott Tepperman and
Phoebe Farber is a psychotherapist and professor at Montclair State University, where she teaches a course titled Creative Thinking. She has taught and lectured on the psychology of the creative process around the country, including Yellowstone National Park, Utah, and Edge Hill University in England. Drs. Farber and Strobbe will be travelling to Scotland next summer to lead a performance workshop with university students from Dundee, Scotland and Montclair State.
David Strobbe, originally from Canada, travelled the world as a professional ballet and musical theater performer for over 25 years. After retiring from the stage, he transitioned to performing arts administration and currently works as a Production Manager at The Juilliard School where he helps young artists hone their craft. He recently completed his doctoral studies in transformative leadership in higher education. Drs. Farber and Strobbe have founded the non-profit - Expanding Out - which incorporates creative thinking and the creative arts to help mobilize one's creative power.
