Wednesday, May 15, 2019 10 Iyar 5779

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

In this workshop, we will examine an overview of the history of antisemitism, learning its cyclical nature, see how it functions in society, and its role in the ideology of white nationalism today. We will look at the difference between antisemitism on the right and on the left. The workshop will be experiential, as well as didactic.

Rabbi Liebling is the Director of the Social Justice Organizing Program at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. He previously served as the Executive Vice-President of Jewish Funds for Justice (now Bend the Arc), and the Executive Director of the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation. He is on the boards of T'ruah, the Faith and Politics Institute and the Shalom Center. He answered the clergy calls to go to Ferguson, Standing Rock and Charlottesville.
