BNAI KESHET EXHIBIT PROGRAM
ABOUT
We are starting our development work on an Exhibit Program for BK. We see the Exhibit Program as a true reflection of our community, which means that our community will co-create it. As we will celebrate Bnai Keshet's 40th anniversary (1978 - 2018) throughout the calendar year of 2019, we invite YOU, the community, to share your experiences and hopes about your relationship with Bnai Keshet, past, present, and future. Over the course of this year we will be developing prototypes and previews with your input to inform the final development plan and budget for implementing the Exhibit Program and our historical archive so that we can collect, curate, and share our stories for years to come.
SHARE YOUR CONTENT
At Makers Days throughout the year we invite you to BK to share your stories and memorabilia. We are creating a temporary secure storage area and tracking system for physical materials until the Exhibit Program is implemented. We will also create ways for you to share your reflections and content online.
CELEBRATE BK@40
The occasion of our anniversary naturally provides a way for us to celebrate, pause and take stock of where we have been, where we are now, and where we are going as a community. Here are some specific times when the development work on the Exhibit Program and celebrating BK@40 intersect:
Bnai Mitzvah Projects: on-going
Makers Days: Sunday, February 3, 2019. More dates TBD
BK@40 Gala: Saturday, March 30, 2019
BK Retreat: May 31 - June 2, 2019
Each one of these celebrations will give us an opportunity to generate and share content for the Exhibit Program. After the High Holidays, we will turn our attention to completing the development plan for implementing the Exhibit Program.
