National Day of Jewish Action for Refugees

02/10/2017 11:56:54 AM

Feb10

Rabbi Elliott and Rabbi Ariann, along with BK's Tikkun Olam committee invite you to this event, organized by HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society).

HIAS is the only Jewish organization whose mission is to assist refugees – whoever they are and wherever they are.

Around the world, we help refugees find safety and freedom and regain control of their lives. Our work is guided by our Jewish values and our historical experience of forced migration. ( click to read more on the HIAS website )

Join HIAS and the New York Jewish community for a rally overlooking the Statue of Liberty – our nation’s symbol of hope for those seeking safety and freedom in the United States. We will shed light on the human toll of the refugee ban and galvanize our community to come together as a force for change.

Sister actions will be held around the country -  check latest list
