Wise Aging
Wise Aging
Bnai Keshet has launched Wise Aging @ BK – a ground-breaking program specifically designed to meet the social, spiritual and emotional needs of older members of the BK community.
Developed by Rabbi Rachel Cowan and Dr. Linda Thal, based on their book Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience and Spirit, this eight session series is a reflective way to contemplate aging and develop personal practices to enhance this stage of life.
A small group of BK congregants was trained by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality to facilitate these unique groups. An evening group is underway and a morning/daytime group is forming to start in January. Those interested should contact Andrea Peyser, andreapeyser@gmail.com or the BK office.
