Jersey Cares Coat Drive

 

Girl Scouts of West Orange are participating in the Jersey Cares Coat Drive to collect new and gently-used winter coats for men, women, and children in need throughout New Jersey. Please drop off COATS ONLY in the collection box located in the BK lobby. 

Thanksgiving Food Baskets For IHN Families 2016


IHN is hoping to gather food baskets for 55 IHN families who are now in homes of their own.

We continue to collect travel sized toiletries for those in need. Collection box is in the BK lobby.

Getting Good at Getting Older

Rabbi Laura Geller will be at BK on Friday night, November 18, and Shabbat morning, November 19.  She will lead a conversation on Friday night about
"Getting Good at Getting Older,” and the organizing she is doing to create opportunities for aging in place  The conversation will complement the work that Bnai Keshet members are doing on Wise Aging and the work some are leading on Aging in Montclair.  Laura will also give the d’var on Shabbat morning, linking Jewish values about family and aging to the organizing work she is leading.
