Living our Values

Dues, tuition and other income only cover roughly 85% of our expenses, with the balance typically generated through contributions and other fundraising efforts.

Please join us in making a contribution to our Living Our Values Campaign. The ongoing support of our community allows us to remain the welcoming and dynamic synagogue community you have chosen to join.

Rabbi Ariann Weitzman will teach on the works of Rabbi Abraham Isaak Kook, the first chief Ashkenazi rabbi of British Mandatory Palestine and one of the most influential rabbis of the 20th century.  "HaRav" was a mystic, a halakhist, a Torah scholar, and above all a practical thinker about the future of Judaism, especially in the land of Israel.  We will look at several of his works, focusing primarily on "Orot HaTeshuvah," the lights of repentance.

"Therefore, the pure righteous do not complain of the dark, but increase the light; they do not complain of evil, but increase justice; they do not complain of heresy, but increase faith; they do not complain of ignorance, but increase wisdom" HaRav, Arpilei Tohar.
