Give to the Living Our Values Campaign

Dues, tuition and other income only cover roughly 85% of our expenses, with the balance typically generated through contributions and other fundraising efforts.

Please join us in making a contribution to our Living Our Values Campaign. The ongoing support of our community allows us to remain the welcoming and dynamic synagogue community you have chosen to join.

Parenting a child with depression, behavioral or eating disorder, or a drug or alcohol addiction can be an extraordinarily lonely experience. Too often families in this situation suffer alone without realizing that the person next to them at synagogue may be going through a very similar experience.

Karen and Scott Novak have graciously offered to host a gathering and discussion facilitated by Rabbi Elliott for parents facing or who have faced these or similar challenges. We will also be joined by Bnai Keshet member and therapist Dr. Phoebe Farber.

If you have questions please do not hesitate to call Rabbi Elliott (973/489-4889). If you think you can come please let me know confidentially by responding to this email.

The meeting will be at the home of Karen & Scott Novak:

Exciting News for Women of BK!

You may have noticed that the

LILITH SALON scheduled for February 27th at 7:00PM

will be held at BK, and not at someone's home. That's because we are anticipating a larger crowd than usual. We are both privileged and delighted to announce that the editor of LILITH, Susan Weidman Schneider, will be joining us for this special salon.
