Kabbalat Bluegrass Shabbat with Doni Zasloff & Eric Lindberg
Nefesh Mountain, a band that fuses Bluegrass, Celtic and Jewish traditions just finished recording a terrific album in Nashville's famous Emporium Studios, and is bringing their sound for a special Kabbalat Shabbat at BK.
Start at 5:45, end around 6:45 at BK, dinner for teens after. Please note this event is for teens-only (no kids under 13).
Bring your instrument - banjo's, ukeleles, drums, mandolin's, voices, dombro's or just your ears and appetitie and join us. A light teen-only meal will follow.
Join us after the Bluegrass Kabbalat Shabbat, at 8:30PM on Friday, March 13th for a Friday Night Chavurah featuring congregant David Weinstein telling the story of his secret mission to the former Soviet Union as a 22 year old in 1987. Click for more information.
