2026 Letter from the Presidents

Dear Bnai Keshet Community,

Summer is here—and so is Bnai Keshet’s new fiscal year.

We hope this past year brought you joy, comfort, connection, and spiritual growth. In a time of global and local challenges, we are especially grateful for the strength and warmth of this community.

Your support makes BK possible.

Everything we do — our services, classes, social events, Bet Midrash, and so much more — depends on each of us. We have a small, dedicated staff and many amazing volunteers, but the heart of BK is you!

It is time for each of us to renew our commitment to BK.

Please review your dues statement for the period July 2025–June 2026, which is based on your dues level from last year. As you know, Bnai Keshet uses a “Fair Share” dues model; we ask that those who can, give more to ensure that everyone is welcome, regardless of means. Thank you for giving as generously as you can.

This year’s dues include a cost of living increase of 3.2% to keep pace with a similar increase in staff salaries and benefits. Your statement also includes a $100 per household security fee. If you have children in Bet Midrash, your statement includes this year’s tuition charges, as well.

Payment instructions and our Fair Share guide are here.  Visit your account page to set up payments and update your profile. If you would prefer to make monthly payments, the office can help you set those up.

If your financial situation has changed, please reach out to our Executive Director, Mark Bograd

We are committed to making BK accessible to everyone, and no one will be turned away due to financial challenges. If your current household income places you at a different dues level from last year — whether higher or lower — please let us know which level is appropriate.

Please respond by August 15.

It is important to the financial health of the synagogue to collect dues in a timely manner and/or to have a clear understanding of any payment arrangements. If you need to make such an arrangement with the office, please reach out as soon as possible.

The reality is that when we wait to pay our dues or to reach out to make payment arrangements, we use valuable resources from the office staff. Please make an effort to settle your account or contact the office to payment arrangements by August 15.

BK is Growing!

We are proud to report that our membership continues to grow. We have exceeded 300 households!

Dues are our largest source of income; your timely contribution ensures that BK remains a strong, welcoming, and vibrant center for Jewish life—for you, your family, and our wider community.

Thank you again for being part of Bnai Keshet. We’re looking forward to an exciting and meaningful year ahead—together.

With gratitude,

Sarah and Eric
