Fair Share Dues Explanation

We try to spread the cost of operating Bnai Keshet equitably among our members through our Fair Share Dues Schedule.  The Schedule below describes the various pieces of financial commitment and the purpose of dues, as well as other fees and charges.  It is our hope that each member will select a dues level for the coming year that is consistent with your particular financial situation. Bet Midrash tuition is explained below as well. We have assumed that any children in the religious school will continue their religious education at BK at the next grade level.

2. Reaffirm your Dues Level  Click to fill out the form ►
This year we are asking everyone to take a moment to examine and confirm how much your Fair Share Dues should be based on household income. If you have been paying at the same level for many years it may be time to reevaluate and move up a tier. If your situation has changed, let us know your new level by contacting Mark at mark@bnaikeshet.org or 973-746-4889, so we can revise your statement.

3. Review your statement for accuracy  Click to view your statement ►
Refer to the statement sent with the annual dues letter, or view in your BK Account. If the statement needs revision, contact Mark at mark@bnaikeshet.org or 973-746-4889, so we can revise your statement.

4a. Choose the Indefinite Payment Plan  Click to opt in or out ►
Recommended!
This is a great "set and forget" option, so you don't have to worry about setting up payments or writing checks every month. We'll set up equal monthly payments that continue year-to-year. Your Dues Level remains the same until you inform us of a change in income, but the amount charged will be adjusted to reflect the next year’s tuition and dues amounts. Opt out of the plan at any time by contacting the office.

OR

4b. Set up your own payment plan  Click to set up ►
Choose how you'll pay this year’s dues & tuition. (You must update every year if not on the Indefinite Plan). We greatly appreciate the generosity of those who can afford to pay their balance in full early in the year. This helps BK maintain a healthy cash flow.  But we also welcome you to set up monthly charges to your credit card (you get to keep the points, but we will charge a 3% fee) or, to avoid the fee, set up a bank account for Electronic Funds Transfers.

5. Bet Midrash Tuition and Enrollment (if applicable) Click to enroll ►
Fees for the religious school are listed below. If you are a Bet Midrash family, tuition is a line item on the enclosed statement, and the payment plan you choose will cover both dues and tuition. Note that a 50% tuition discount applies to third and subsequent children enrolled in any given year. Registration for the next school year is a separate process that is required for returning families. Click the icon to register.
